Patient Image Viewing Instructions
Viewing of patient images is sometimes problematic for our clients due to the variety of operating systems available in the marketplace including Windows Vista/Windows 7 and those for the Mac computer. The Dicom viewing software supplied with Radiology Consultants Image CDs can currently only run on Windows XP SP2 and SP3. We are well aware of this limitation which we hope to have resolved with future versions of the software from our vendor.
We have prepared detailed instructions for both our customers and referring doctors on how to obtain and use one of the many free Dicom viewing applications we have tested and highly recommend (available on the internet) to assist in the viewing of the Image CD provided by Radiology Consultants. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
