The Radiologist Scheduling & Operations Coordinator will have key insights into how the organization performs and manages the complete radiologist workflow and dynamic scheduling. This role will effectively support Mayfair radiologists, clients, and employees while measuring radiologist productivity ensuring the highest quality in patient care. Responsibilities of the Coordinator will include radiologist daily and on-call schedules, ensuring appropriate radiologist coverage based on skill set, and working collaboratively with the team to support the Radiologist Operations department.

What You Will Achieve In This Role

  • Radiologist scheduling which can include:
    • weekly schedules, vacations, shifts, remote reading, and rounds schedule utilizing a scheduling software
    • Ensuring appropriate staffing levels across subspecialties
    • Identifying gaps in service when conflicts occur
    • Liaison for Mayfair clinic and AHS staff with regards to radiologist scheduling
    • Preparation of reports for the finance department and reconciling radiologist shifts each month
  • Assist with the radiologist licensing process to communicate with relevant parties regarding licensing for various locations to ensure seamless workflow transition
  • Assist with daily volume monitoring and data collection as needed
  • Become familiar with clinic and hospital workflow and critical radiology applications
  • Work with the team to allocate work based rules and/or dynamic situations that require immediate clinical engagement
  • Create and update radiologist operations documentation and workflows as required
  • Support the department with monitoring variances in metrics for each radiologist (including but not limited to Peer Review and CAR requirements)
  • Report any issues between radiology clients and Mayfair for problem resolution
  • Liaison with Mayfair clinic staff, Teleradiology clients, and radiologists
  • Operational troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Assisting in management radiologist workflow and clinical work load distribution
  • Consistently provides an excellent level of customer service to physicians, staff, and clients

What You Will Bring To This Role

  • Graduate of a recognized post-secondary program related to Health Sciences, Health Information Management or Business Administration with Medical Office Assistant Required
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in health care technology and/or diagnostic imaging
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in scheduling; preferably in an organization with complex scheduling requirements
  • Experience in radiological clinic operations, radiology clinic workflow, and process design
  • Strong data analytical ability and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Customer service driven with a high level of professionalism
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills in various computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must be prepared to work flexible hours as required to complete duties during non-business hours
