We are proud to sponsor CPR500, Western Canada’s largest mass CPR training.
In 2012, more than 66,000 Canadians died from heart disease or stroke. That’s one person every 7 minutes. CPR training could help save some of those lives.
DIL Walk Foundation is looking to train 500 members of the community. Each participant will receive a CPR Anytime Kit and have an opportunity for a hearth health risk assessment, performed by health professionals from the Mosaic Primary Care Network and community volunteers.
This event is an excellent opportunity to learn about your risk for heart disease and what can be done to diminish that risk. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and CPR training will start at 10:30 a.m.
