Cardiac imaging includes a wide range of services, which your physician may recommend for a number of reasons:

  • To help diagnose a heart condition or heart disease.
  • To assess the effects of a heart attack.
  • To determine the cause of chest pain.
  • To examine the structure and function of the heart and heart valves.
  • To detect coronary artery disease.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • If you take medication to manage your blood sugar and can’t fast for four hours, please call your doctor for specific instructions.
  • Certain medications will need to be stopped for 48 hours before and during the day of some tests. Please check with your doctor for more information.
  • For many of the tests, our booking coordinators must triage your requisition and then contact you to schedule an appointment.
