Easily manage your healthcare at Mayfair with Patient Connection, our online tool that lets you schedule appointments anytime. Prefer to speak with someone? Our Central Booking team can help you find a convenient date and location.

Patient Connection is currently only available to existing Mayfair patients. Existing Mayfair patients may create a Patient Connection account or use a one-time login via SMS. New patients to Mayfair should call our Contact Centre toll-free at 1-866-611-2665 or if in Regina, 306-569-9729 to book your first visit and then you can use the online booking tool for your next visit.  

Important Note: When accessing our online booking portal for the first time, you must set up a password. For every login thereafter, you have the choice of using your password to login or you can access your account with a one-time SMS code via your mobile device.

Yes, you can book, view, reschedule, or cancel an appointment using our new online booking tool, Patient Connection regardless of how you originally booked the appointment.  You can reschedule your appointment to a later time using Patient Connection however to reschedule to an earlier time from your current appointment, please call us at 1-866-611-2665 or if in Regina, 306-569-9729.

Yes, a mobile phone number will be required to receive a multi-factor authentication code to safeguard your health information. You have the option to create a user account for future access, or you can continue to access the system by using a different one-time access code each time.

While you can automatically book certain exams, others may require our team to review your requisition, medical history and symptoms to determine the best exam.  However, you can still use Patient Connection to upload your requisition and request an appointment. On the list of exams, please select the “Request Appointment” button and proceed with the process to request an appointment.  Our team will then review your request and respond to you within one to three business days for next steps in scheduling your appointment.

If your physician has marked your imaging as urgent, please call us at 1-866-611-2665 or if in Regina, 306-569-9729, to ensure your appointment is scheduled promptly.

For X-ray exams, if your physician has marked your imaging as STAT, please proceed to any Mayfair clinic offer X-ray services. For a list of clinics including address and hours, see our LOCATIONS page.

If your doctor has ordered multiple types of exams on your requisition, you can select the exams from the list presented and proceed with uploading your requisition and choosing your clinic, day, and time for the exams. However, if one or more of the exams you are seeking is not listed, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “request appointment”.  You will be able to upload your requisition to request the appointments. A booking coordinator will review your requisition and respond within 1 to 3 business days.

Please ensure the name and mobile number you enter match what we have on file.  Your name is typically the name on your health insurance card. If your information has changed, or you’d like to speak to someone, call us at 1-866-611-2665 or if in Regina, 306-569-9729. If you have recently changed your mobile phone number, please contact us as well. Having complete and accurate information for you, ensures you can be properly validated, and your information is kept secure.

If you have never visited our clinics before, please call our Customer Contact Centre at 1-866-611-2665 or if in Regina, 306-569-9729 . We can help schedule your first exam and set up your account in our system. Once your account is created, you can use our Patient Connection system to book future appointments or access existing appointments.

Yes, you can take a clear photo of your requisition and upload it during the booking process. Make sure all details are visible in the photo. On the ‘upload referral page’, simply tap or click on the cloud icon, and you will be presented with options to upload your requisition.

We accept requisitions from any diagnostic imaging provider in Canada. To book an exam or request an appointment via Patient Connection, patients need a medical requisition (referral) from a Canadian licensed physician or other approved referrer. For certain exams, the referrer can be a nurse practitioner, chiropractor or physiotherapist.

If your physician or medical clinic has indicated to you that they faxed your requisition directly to Mayfair, we will contact you and you do not need to proceed with an online booking or request.

To book a self-referring screening mammogram, you must call our Contact Centre at 1-866-611-2665. Self-referring screening mammograms are only available at our Alberta clinics.   In certain circumstances patients can self refer for their yearly or bi-yearly mammograms. You may be able to book an appointment without needing to have a requisition from your physician if you meet certain criteria. However, these exams must be booked by calling our Contact Centre and cannot be booked online via Patient Connection.   The Alberta Health Services Screening for Life initiative encourages women to participate in breast cancer screening through routine mammography. This provincial initiative empowers women to “self-refer” depending on their age. For more details on who can self-refer, call our team, or visit screeningforlife.ca. Once your appointment is scheduled, we will send you preparation instructions by email or text. The required preparation instructions for your exam will also be available on Patient Connection once your exam is scheduled. Simply click on ‘View Details’ to review your appointment prep. Protecting your personal information is a top priority. We’ve put strong safeguards in place to minimize risk and keep your data safe. We use a combination of administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including but not limited to:

  • All information is encrypted to protect data transmitted between your device and our servers, including login details, personal information, and any messages or forms you submit. This ensures that we maintain privacy and data integrity across all communications between your devices and our servers, ensuring that information cannot be intercepted, read, or modified during transfer.
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required to access the system sending a onetime code to your mobile device to login into the system.
  • Strict password standards for patients who choose to create an account within our system.
  • Regular third-party security assessments to independently test and validate our systems.
  • All Mayfair employees are required to take mandatory training annually in data privacy and cybersecurity and must follow the Alberta Health Information Act (HIA), the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and our internal cybersecurity protocols.

Radiologist

Radiologists are specialized physicians who interpret diagnostic imaging to diagnose and monitor a wide range of medical conditions. At Mayfair Diagnostics, they review X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI studies, among others, analyzinsg images in detail and providing comprehensive reports and clinical recommendations to referring physicians. They collaborate closely with technologists and clinic teams to guide imaging protocols, ensure quality and radiation safety standards, and may perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies or injections. Through their expertise and teamwork, radiologists play a key role in accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and improved patient outcomes.

Administration

Administrative professionals support the organization across human resources, marketing, operations, strategic partnerships, finance, information technology, and infrastructure. From recruiting staff to promoting services and improving workflows, they help ensure smooth operations and positive experiences for employees and patients. Through collaboration with clinical and support teams, they provide essential coordination that enables efficient, high-quality service.

Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

Diagnostic Imaging Assistant (DIA) support clinic operations and help ensure a positive patient experience. They assist staff by greeting and preparing patients, confirming information, coordinating appointments, and guiding patients through their visit. DIAs also maintain exam rooms, manage documentation, and ensure supplies and equipment are ready. Through strong customer service, attention to detail, and teamwork, they help create a safe and organized environment.

Patient Experience Coordinator

Patient Experience Coordinators (PECs) are the first point of contact, scheduling exams and ensuring accurate patient information. They communicate clearly with patients, coordinate with care teams, and support a smooth, confidential, and customer-focused experience.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Nuclear Medical Technologists perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures involving sensitive and highly personal patient circumstances. They are responsible for delivering the highest standard of care in a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered manner, in accordance with provincial regulatory requirements, CAMRT standards, and Mayfair policies and guidelines.

CT Technologist

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body that assist in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. They prepare and position patients for scans, ensure safety protocols are followed, and administer contrast agents when required. CT technologists work closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained, while providing clear communication and compassionate care to support patient comfort throughout the procedure.

MRI Technologist

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists operates MRI scanners to produce detailed images of internal body structures used to assist in medical diagnosis and treatment planning. They are responsible for preparing and positioning patients, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed due to the strong magnetic field, and obtaining high-quality images as directed by radiologists. MRI technologists combine technical expertise with patient care, providing clear communication and support to ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient imaging experience.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Diagnostic Medical Sonographers perform ultrasound exams to help diagnose and monitor medical conditions. Following Sonography Canada standards and Mayfair Diagnostics protocols, they capture accurate images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. They work with radiologists and clinical teams to review requisitions, prepare patients, perform scans, and document findings, contributing to accurate diagnoses and a positive patient experience.

Medical Radiation Technologist

Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) perform x-ray, mammography, and BMD exams while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.  They also may assist in pain therapy procedures. MRTs verify patient information, explain procedures, position patients, and produce high-quality images. MRTs follow professional standards and protocols, maintaining strict radiation safety, quality assurance, and patient privacy while supporting a positive patient experience.
